Adea Coffee Company respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. The collection of information is done for billing purposes and responsible delivery. The information we collect is voluntarily and consciously provided to us by you, through the various forms that you might fill out, for the products that are purchased.
Terms of Service:
Order Processing: Orders placed Monday-Thursday will be processed the following day. Orders received Friday-Sunday will be processed on Monday (excluding Holidays). Depending on the size and weight of your purchase, we will ship via the most dependable and cost-effective mode of transport for your purchase. We do not ship to PO boxes at this time.
Adea Coffee Company reserves the right to Cancel and/or Decline any order, and/or refuse service to anyone.
Shipping: Shipping costs are calculated by the carrier and is determined by the size and weight and mode of delivery. Except on flat rate zones Adea Coffee Company has no control over the charges made by the carrier. Our online shopping carrier is Canada Post except on Flat Rate Delivery. The weight shown on the product description could be the actual weight or/and the dimensional weight.
Delivery: It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the package and contents before signing the delivery receipt. If there are any problems with the packaging it is important you note them on the receipt. If the item is damaged (such as a cracked screen or physical damage to the unit) please refuse the delivery. This is to protect you in the event that a damaged package claim needs to be filed. We are unable to except returns for physical damage to merchandise if the shipment was signed for free of all damage. If damage is noted on the delivery receipt this policy becomes much more flexible. If box is open by border services or any other government agencies there will be a seal tape notifying that the parcel was opened and inspected. It is the buyers responsibility to check all items before signing for the delivery.
Items that may take 7- 10 business days to be shipped will be noted at the end of description as Handling Time.
We require 1-4 handling days for time to process the sale and prepare the item for shipment.
Adea Coffee Company is not responsible for any damages during delivery and transportation. Adea Coffee Company is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise during transportation from a third party delivery. Adea Coffee Company reserves the right to any changes without notice. Most items are insured when shipped for delivery.
Incoterms: Canada and USA (DAP) , International (EXW).
Taxes: Coffee and olive oil are tax exempt in and out of Canada. Other items that are taxable, will show the tax amount upon checkout. Rate varies from province. Ontario tax rate on most items is 13%. Other provinces that do not have HST only the GST is applicable. HST and/or GST does not apply on purchases outside of Canada.
Duty/ Brokerage Fees: Shipments made outside of Canada may be subject to Duties, National taxes and/or Brokerage fees from the destination's government agencies. Please be aware that the customer is solely responsible for any of these additional charges.
Shipping Costs: Will be shown on the shopping cart when you check out.
Warranty: Applies on products that have warranty listed and cover only labor and parts due to damage or defects from the manufacturer. Warranty is void on products which the defect is from the consumers misuse of the product. Warranty applies to items sold solely at www.adeacoffee.ca
DVD/Blu-Ray - All DVD and/or Blu-ray disc can be returned within 14 days of receiving the item. RMA is required and returns are ONLY for malfunction due to manufacturer's fault. Item can be exchanged or fully returned. Shipping is paid by the buyer. We do not accept physically damaged items due to misuse.
Transactions: All purchases made from Adea Coffee Company through our website or other websites are considered to be purchased in Canada as it applies to our geographic location of our physical store.
Unless otherwise specified under warranty on the product description, we accept returns within 14 days. These terms are only for items sold at the online store of www.adeacoffee.ca
If returns are approved and specified the following conditions apply: Before shipping a returning merchandise you must let us know in writing, firstname.lastname@example.org , your intentions and reason of return and/or defect(s) that you noticed. We will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and details for returning the item. We do not accept returned items without an RMA.
When returning an item, it is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that all articles are received by Adea Coffee Company and that they are received undamaged. Using an insured shipping method is recommended. We will not be held liable for inbound parcels which are misdirected, damaged, or lost in transit.
Defective Product (s): If the product is found to be defective within 30 days after receipt of delivery you may return the merchandise for an exchange (depending on availability) or refund. You must return the defective product within 30 days and, include original box, packaging and all accessories. Physical damage does not constitute a product being claimed as defective and all physical damage claims will be denied. Product item will be inspected upon return to determine defect. If no defects are found, and the merchandise is open there will be a 25% restocking fee.
Returning costs for defective items are covered by Adea Coffee Company.
In case of return where accessories are missing we will place the item on hold for 7 business days. If we do not receive the accessories within the time limit of 7 days, the warranty will be cancelled and buyer will be responsible for all shipping cost of returning back the product to the buyer.
Definitions: N/A is a default, non-product selection. It does not represent an item or product. Where price shows zero (0), costumer must choose an item by selecting one of the boxes that represent an item.
Changes, Misprints and Errors: Subject to applicable law, we: (a) reserve the right to change the products and services advertised or offered for sale through the Site, the prices or specifications of such products and services and any promotional offers at any time and from time to time without any notice or liability to you or any other person; (b) cannot guarantee that products or services advertised or offered for sale on the Site will be available when ordered or thereafter; (c) reserve the right to limit quantities sold or made available for sale; (d) do not warrant that the Site or any material that appears on the Site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free; (e) reserve the right to cancel, to terminate or not to process orders (including accepted orders) where the price or other material information on this site is inaccurate; and (f) reserve the right to cancel an order if there is not enough inventory of an item to complete your order (or if an item is no longer available). If we do not process an order for such reason(s), we will advise you that the order has been cancelled and will either not charge you or will apply a credit to the payment type used in the order. Some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusions and disclaimers of certain implied warranties, so some of the provisions of this section may not apply to you.
